As frontman of The Rosenbergs, he famously refused a Universal-affiliated Farmclub TV slot over its contract terms, signed with Robert Fripp's Discipline Global Mobile, and testified as a witness in the U.S. Copyright Office's 2001 digital royalty proceeding. His song "Birds of a Feather" was the theme to CBS's Accidentally on Purpose.
